Shamim Ahmed is a visionary entrepreneur, accomplished marine engineer, and dynamic business leader with extensive experience in maritime, manufacturing, real estate, and strategic business development.

A graduate of the 40th Batch of Bangladesh Marine Academy (2005), he began his career with Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) and later held key positions at internationally renowned organizations, including V-Ships Management, Gulf Energy Maritime, Unix Line Pvt. Ltd., and MOL Chemical Tanker.

Throughout his maritime career, he has travelled to more than 80 countries across multiple continents, building strong relationships with business leaders, investors, and professionals worldwide. This global exposure has equipped him with valuable insights into international business, multicultural environments, and strategic leadership.

Beyond shipping, he has successfully expanded into real estate, manufacturing, hospitality, and agro-business sectors. Under his leadership, Mariners Group has developed into a diversified business platform with several promising ventures, including Captain's Fish Farm (CFF), Marinozz Chain Restaurant, and MOHS Venice City.

One of his primary missions is to establish a sustainable interest-free business platform that enables people to grow together through ethical, transparent, and collaborative business practices.

He envisions building a global business network that unites professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors who are committed to an interest-free economic ecosystem. As an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, he has successfully represented and advised several prestigious government institutions and national organizations, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in constitutional, corporate, civil, and regulatory law.

A graduate of the University of Dhaka with both LL.B. and LL.M. degrees, he further enhanced his legal education by obtaining an LL.B. from London, equipping him with both local and international legal perspectives. An alumnus of Cumilla Cadet College, he is recognized for his disciplined leadership and commitment to excellence.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Sarwar has served as legal counsel for notable institutions including the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (NHPC), Jolshiri Residence Project, Bangladesh Ordnance Factory, and the Embassy of Algeria. His unique combination of legal expertise, executive leadership, and strategic vision has established him as a trusted advisor, respected advocate, and influential figure in Bangladesh's legal and business communities.

Ch. Engr Md. Abdur Rahman Patwary

Md. Abdur Rahman Patwary is an accomplished marine engineering leader and Deputy Managing Director of MOHS with extensive global maritime experience. He attained the highest professional marine engineering rank of Chief Engineer and served with A.P. Moller–Maersk, Denmark, one of the world’s leading shipping organizations. His international career spans visits to more than 40 countries, including the United States, Russia, Turkey, and nations across Europe and Asia, strengthening his global leadership and operational expertise.

He also contributed to maritime education as Head of the Department at Bangladesh Marine Academy, Rangpur, supporting the development of future professionals. Mr. Patwary holds a B.Sc. in Marine Engineering from Bangladesh Marine Academy, Chattogram, and an M.Sc. in Coastal and River Engineering from Maritime University, Bangladesh. Originally from Chandpur, Bangladesh, he combines technical expertise, academic leadership, and strategic vision.

Captain Noor E Alam began his career as a Deck Cadet aboard MV Banglar Doot in 2006 and steadily progressed through the ranks of Third Officer, Second Officer, Chief Officer, and ultimately Master, serving on numerous nationally and internationally operated vessels. His command experience includes MV Banglar Samriddhi, MV Akij Noor, MV Akij Pearl, MV Akij Ocean, and MV Akij Globe, highlighting his expertise in maritime navigation, regulatory compliance, cargo operations, and strategic vessel management. His career exemplifies professionalism, resilience, and leadership, making him a respected figure in Bangladesh's maritime industry.

S.M. Subberul Haque

He currently serves as Director of MOHS Group, Chairman of MG Ventures PLC and Executive Director of Marine Health Care Hospital & Diagnostic Center, Khilkhet, Dhaka, contributing to strategic leadership, organizational growth, and long-term business development initiatives.

A highly accomplished Chief Engineer (MEO Class-1), he has built an impressive career across maritime operations, technical education, and industrial management. He previously served as Head of the Engineering Department at Bangladesh Marine Academy, Sylhet, where he played a significant role in developing future maritime professionals. He also served as Chief Engineer Instructor at NMI Madaripur, contributing extensively to marine engineering education and professional training.

In addition, he held the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Ananda Shipyard, gaining valuable experience in shipbuilding, engineering management, and industrial operations.

Capt. Raisul Islam

He currently serves as Director of MOHS Group and Director of Mariners Group, contributing to corporate governance, business expansion, and long-term investment strategies.

He is prestigiously serving at Onesea Solutions Pte Ltd as Senior Marine Manager and previously held the positions of Marine Superintendent and Captain at K-Line Shipping Company, where he gained significant expertise in vessel operations, fleet management, safety compliance, and international maritime regulations.

Capt. Raisul Islam earned a Bachelor in Maritime Science (Presidential Gold Medal Winner) from Bangladesh Marine Academy, Chattogram in 2011. He further obtained Master Mariner (UK) certification from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, completed a Diploma of Higher Education in Nautical Science from Liverpool John Moores University, and earned a Master's degree in Port and Shipping Management from Bangladesh Maritime University in 2024.

He completed his higher secondary education from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, and earned a Bachelor of Maritime Science from Bangladesh Marine Academy, Chattogram. He built a successful international maritime career as a Marine Chief Engineer, working with globally recognized companies including MSC, Synergy Marine Group, Goodwood Ship Management Singapore, and Asia Pacific Ship Management. He also served as a Marine Engineering Lecturer and Instructor, contributing to the development of future maritime professionals.

With experience across more than 50 countries, he brings a strong global perspective to leadership and business development. Today, he focuses on sustainable business growth, real estate development, FMCG expansion, and investment initiatives, combining technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision to create long-term value and organizational excellence.

A graduate of Bangladesh Marine Academy (43rd Batch, 2008), he has built a successful global maritime career and is presently serving as Chief Engineer at BSM Singapore. Throughout his professional journey, he has worked with internationally renowned shipping organizations, including World Tankers Management, Ocean Tankers, Tanker Pacific, and Eastern Pacific Shipping, gaining extensive expertise in vessel operations, technical management, safety compliance, and marine engineering leadership.

Having visited more than 50 countries across six continents, he brings a broad international perspective and multicultural experience to both maritime and corporate leadership.

In addition to his engineering background, he is an LL.B. graduate and an LL.M. candidate in Maritime Law, reflecting his commitment to strengthening the connection between maritime operations, legal frameworks, and business governance.
